CEO - i3 Verticals
Gregory Daily founded Charge Payment (now i3 Verticals) in 2012, and serves as the Chief Executive Officer as well as on the Board of Directors. Prior to Charge Payment, he founded and served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of iPayment, Inc. and was a private investor. Gregory also served as President and Co-Founder of PMT Services, Inc., until selling in 1998 to NOVA Corporation, where he then served as Vice Chairman.
His long career in finance also includes Director roles at Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc.; Private Business Inc.; Capstar Bank; IPIX Corp.; and PMT Services Inc. Gregory holds a Bachelor of Arts from Trevecca Nazarene University.
EVP- i3 Verticals
Rick Stanford is the Executive Vice President for i3 Verticals and responsible for Mergers & Acquisitions among other duties. With more than 26 years of leadership experience in the payments industry, he has managed all direct, multi-channel and alliance program sales and support. In these positions, he was responsible for the company’s strategic direction through these channels in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and Europe. Rick has also served in various executive management positions in sales, marketing, business management and operations. Prior to joining i3 Verticals he was Chief Marketing Officer for Direct Connect, SVP of Sales for Sage Payment Services and a Vice President with PMT Services, Inc.
Rick also participates in regional and national industry organizations, and has vice-chaired a number of committees over the past several years. He also served on the Board of Directors for Network 1 Financial prior to its acquisition by Sage and is currently on the Board of Directors for AERC Recycling Solutions. Rick received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Memphis.
CFO - i3 Verticals
Clay Whitson joined i3 Verticals as Chief Financial Officer in 2014 and has more than 15 years of experience in the payments industry. He also currently serves on the i3 Verticals Board of Directors. Clay was CFO in his previous role at edo Interactive. Prior to joining edo, Clay was Chief Financial Officer of iPayment, Inc. He also served on iPayment’s Board of Directors before the company went private in 2006. Before his time at iPayment, Clay was CFO for The Corporate Executive Board (NASDAQ: EXBD). Clay has also served as CFO of PMT Services, Inc. Clay earned his Bachelor of Arts from Southern Methodist University and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Virginia, Darden School of Business.
COO - i3 Verticals
With more than 20 years of industry experience in merchant acquiring with varying responsibilities in all aspects of the merchant card business, Joe Jorling is Chief Operating Officer of i3 Verticals. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President at iPayment, Inc., where he focused primarily on product services including running the Petroleum Card Division and New Products for the company’s sales and marketing teams. Prior to this role, Joe executed the integration and operations of 12 divergent companies and merged them into a main operations center in California. Before joining iPayment, Joe was the Senior Vice President and Division Manager for Imperial Bank, a top-10 acquiring bank before it was acquired by Comerica Bank.
EVP - Sales & Marketing - i3 Verticals
Cindy brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and executive leadership in the technology sector, including several SaaS companies within the education vertical. Additionally, she has a track record of leading profitable sales, marketing and expansion strategies to exceed industry growth averages, including several successful acquisition and liquidity events while serving on the executive team of those companies. Previously, she held leadership positions at Pearson, eInstruction, Kaltura, Schoolwires and Blackboard, leading sales teams, partner channels, and serving on the executive teams. Cindy holds a B.S degree in Business Administration with a minor in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and Executive Leadership credentials from Georgetown University. She is also a member of Women in the Boardroom Association.
EVP - Information Technology - i3 Verticals
Rob joined i3 Verticals as Executive Vice President, Information Technology in 2016 and has over 20 years of experience in the payments and B2B commerce industry. Previously, he held several leadership positions at Sage, Wachovia Bank, American Express and SunTrust Banks. Rob helped Wachovia Bank release its first commercial card products by leading the development of a card transaction GL coding and management information reporting system. At American Express, he was a member of the ANSI X12 committee for the development of card based EDI transactions and acted as product manager and technical consultant for key e-commerce initiatives such as Open Buying on the Internet and level 3 settlement. Rob co-founded a software development company providing technology solutions to major corporations such as BellSouth, Georgia Power and Scientific Atlanta. He joined Open Business Exchange (OB10) as a consultant to support this UK firms' entry into the US market. As Group Vice President at SunTrust Bank, Rob led the technical implementation group to bring a strategic technology solution to market. Rob received a Bachelor of Science from the Georgia State University.
CEO - Data Business Systems
Hume Miller is the CEO of Payschools, i3’s education-focused vertical. Over 20 years, Hume grew Data Business Systems from two schools to nearly 7,000, through a commitment to customer service and innovation. Prior to starting up DBS, Hume held a sales position for Retail Data Systems with a focus on restaurant point-of-sale. With a long history of POS experience, he also founded a restaurant consulting enterprise. Hume graduated from Regis College with a double major in finance/economics and business.
